More Game Characteristics of StanleyHero strategic hockey card game.

These are some of the natural elements found in the game.
This broad collection is meant to answer a few of the questions concerning game play and output.
Random influences at play during a game.
These determine who, what, when, where, why for control of the puck.
The action/reaction of the players on the ice.
WHO
The WHO factor emphasizes which team has the control of the puck.
A team is randomly selected to have home-ice advantage at the beginning of a game.
That team will then be randomly placed on either side of the rink. Changing sides every other period.
WHAT
The WHAT factor is itself randomized by the multiple options available for continued play.
Shall this team do this next or that. Each decision carries additional options therefore
the great depth of these assure us that most plays will be unique, if somewhat familiar.
The opponent generated team must consider a few things before acting upon its next move.
1 - The score
2 - Time left in the period
3 - What zone is the action taking place in?
4 - Although not counting cards, it too has a sense of what has transpired since the period
began. Such as a vague notion of what cards were played, which were never played, etc.
5 - The above are added to the natural elements of play: next possible options, etc.
6 - Taking into account the Personality of each unique opponent team, certain "characteristics"
dominate their behavior. Their individuality becomes apparent by the decisions they take.
7 - There is no obligation to act or react, the opponent will choose when and what to do after consideration.
8 - With a certain amount of distinction this team will also decide on how to play
strategically when not playing. ie: discarding intelligently for their benefit.
WHEN
The WHEN factor is primarily used for game statistics, in keeping track of period info.
It does influence game play: if this occurs next then that may be a possible next move. Chance is a small factor here.

Choosing the right time for certain play-making moves is fundamentally crucial for success in hockey.
Knowing when to take advantage of your opponents weaknesses will write the major plays of the game.
Success and failure are often linked in some way to this part of the game.
When questioning yourself on the outcome of a game you will very often fall upon
one or more of these moments that triggered a change in the appearance of a game.
Strategy is without a doubt a key ingredient of the when factor.
WHERE
The WHERE factor encompasses a few individual elements which should be kept in mind.
The Score will always influence such behavior as described below.
"Gotta be careful, it can go either way."
"I can play any way I like cause i'm winning" - foolish but truthful.
"I must try anything to tie the game" - dangerous thought but truthful.
- Although Caution may prevent disaster this may lead to frozen judgment, afraid to take chances.
One must get to know their opponent. When times are difficult such wisdom will take over.

How deep within the period? How deep within the game? Which zone is the action taking place in?
Each in its own right has an influence on the game. May cause to play differently depending on such situation.
WHY
The WHY factor is an examination of events gone by - or of possibilities forthcoming.
"Shouldn't have happened that way!" "Wasn't prepared for that!" "What was he thinking?" "Guess i'm lucky"
"and I should do this because?" "if that was true then this ..." "Since it went like that these next things could ..."
Depending on one thing, a second thing can take place. More power to the brain which can judge fairly.
Looking toward the near future for guessing, by itself makes this factor unpredictable.
Having a lot of alternatives to play next also adds more depth.
Clearly confirming the existence of the unexpected.
HOW
The HOW factor is now ready to be analized to some degree.
The HOW factor is randomized, after the above facts have been determined,
to illustrate the many possible action sequences of the chosen card, decisions taken by both teams.
The HOW factor was programmed with numerous possible outcomes for each action taken on the ice,
so that every period within a game will be played out with a semi-unique graphical style.
The how shows us the manner in which the action becomes a representation of events taking place immediately.

It is estimated that, depending on the length of each period played,
no two games would be alike because of the vast unknown factors fed into the game.
{randomness of events displayed multiplied by themselves, multiplied by the next options,
multiplied by unpredictable human behavior, multiplied by personality driven opponents,
multiplied by personality driven team-mates, etc, etc, etc}
Further analysis
28 different kinds of cards to play with.
Each interacting with some others in the deck.
Anywhere from upto 10 card options to play at any time to reinforce or dismantle a strategy.
Influential factors determining your control of the puck:
Which team last touched it? {Your Team or that of the opponents}
Which zone were you in last? {3 Zones where the action follows through}
What type of action was played last? {Which of the 28 cards was lastly used}
Broken down above, each still interacts with other aspects to create a fairly unpredictable and exciting game.
The outcome assuredly belonging to those which can better benefit from hockeys numerous styles of play.
In short, one needs only to know a few aspects of the game of hockey to develop a winning style by practicing.
To become a more complete player so as to win more often, one should learn how to play with more than one style.
You could be a good goaltender, don't let this stop you from learning what the other team-mates are doing.
Same goes for defencemen and forwards, get to know a little of the why certain players play in such a way.
This was a brief exploration of the random influences in this StanleyHero game.
The unpredictable events such as, chance, luck, fate, are things brought on by adventure.
As for the sport of hockey per say, you will find within this game
the great majority of plays made by those who practice this exciting sport.
